The Artist - Dee
Since the age of eight, Denise "Dee" Crymble has had a love for baking and decorating desserts that was first inspired by both her mother and grandmothers. Now, more than fifteen years later, Denise is an Artistic Confectioner and the sole owner of Dee's Delectable Desserts.
Denise began her career in Art in 2002 at the Ontario College of Art & Design, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing & Painting. Her love for the kitchen continued through the years, and she decided to fuse the two loves together.
Denise often treated her friends, family & colleagues to freshly baked desserts, which they quite enjoyed! She joked that one day she’d own her own bake shop and they would pay for the little indulgences she offered them.
In 2005, Denise began making cakes for family & friends, and actually got paid for some of her creations! This led to the opening of her business in May of 2008. Denise uses her love of baking as the foundation of this venture, but it's her love of art that truly shines through in these lovely custom cakes & desserts!
