So, this page is dedicated completely to my "works in progress". I make these sketches to help clients visualize their finished pieces. In no way does this mean they will look the same - it just gives them (and me!) an idea of whats to come! It seems to be working thus far... most cakes have come out looking almost exactly the same as the sketches, which is good for me... so i will continue to "doodle" and compare finished pieces to the sketches. Let me know any constructive criticism or just comment.

"Krystle"
This is the design my friend Krystle fell in LOVE with. The wedding is in October, so she wants fall colours and roses to match her bouquet. I will also be making a replica of the cake topper seen in this picture (without the grey background).
Krystle and I have been friends since 1997, so it's an absolute pleasure to be able to make her dream cake a reality!
Love you girl! Cant wait for your special day!
"Faithy"
This is the design I came up with after my cousin Sarah told me her daughter Faith was CRAZY about Disney Princesses. After much deliberation and discussions, we came to the conclusion that Faith would want an Ariel cake much more than to have all the princesses on her cake, so we decided to go with "Faithy II" instead.
We decided it was more important that the birthday girl like her cake the best, not her mom liking the cake the best.
"Faithy II"
This is the winner in the "Sarah and Denise Cake Showdown!" We decided Faith would love this cake, so I will be making this cake this coming weekend (Feb 28) for little Faithy!
"Winnie the Pooh"
this Winnie the Pooh cake would be great for a little boy or girl on their first birthday! A Pooh Bear candle sits against a 3D tree in this spring time cake.
"Winnie the Pooh II"
This WTP cake was designed for a friend who refuses to buy cakes from anywhere else. Her son is turning two and loves Pooh bear! I decorated this cake with more masculine colours for this little guy, but it can be changed to make it more feminine in an instant!
"The Big One!"
This cake is a replica of the couples wedding cake from 25 years ago, with a few modern enhancements! the cake topper will be handmade by yours truly as well!
